Mother’s Day

A little card I made for my mum for mother’s day…

Monochrome: Audrey Hepburn.

For this picture I did a little bike tour to the country side this morning… It was so lovely to escape the city and its rush, its noise for a bit…

Isn’t she beautiful?

Monochrome: Adele

I just love this woman so so much.

Look at that, it’s my 500th post! Isn’t that just incredible? It seems only a while ago I started this blog! In a process of over 300 drawings I have improved so much that I actually sometimes quite like what I am doing now. Artists are never satisfied, of course.

Monochrome: Emilia Clarke.

A drawing using only one colour! This will be a little series because I loved it so much!

As I’m becoming more and more familiar with instagram and try to take nice pictures of my drawings, many plants can be harmed. Not at all acceptable for a nature loving person. This time I sat in a little flower field in our garden and took this photograph. It’s windy so that was a bit difficult…

Please tell me what you think!

Urban Sketching

On the weekend I visited the hometown of a friend which I have not been to in 10 years. My memory was faded and it was so great to see it again, explore all the places, look at all these beautiful old houses.
Also, we always sit on her balcony now to draw together. That’s the second sketch.
Summer is the best time to get back into urban sketching. It’s such a lovely thing, although quite difficult. I love the idea behind it- sitting and drawing from the landscape. Immediately. No pictures, just capturing a moment. A bit like impressionism I guess. A few minutes to enjoy the beauty of a place until world and time move on.

Roses Are… Grey?

I had a lovely drawing night with my friend Hannah. It is always hard to come up with ideas. Especially facing a blank paper. She had some roses on her table so I drew them. And later destroyed them for Instagram. (They were already a bit limp, no worries…)

Dodie Clark (Doddleoddle)

This sweet woman is Youtuber Dodie Clark, also known as Doddleoddle. She does covers of songs and also made some really amazing originial songs I love. (Listen to ‘Adored By Him’, it’s so beautiful!)

And now I drew a portrait of her! These little flowers are too cute 🙂
